Some of my work

As a professional photographer in Punta Cana, I have completed over 1000 photoshoots across Punta Cana and other parts of the Dominican Republic. Here are some examples of my work.

Everything you need to know

If you still have any questions, feel free to contact me. I’d be happy to help 🙂

Punta Cana photographer for individual photoshoots - Alex Po

Will you help me with posing?

Absolutely! You don’t need to be a professional model to get amazing photos. Most of my clients have never done a photoshoot before, and I’ll guide you throughout the entire session.

Where does the photoshoot take place?

The three most popular locations are Bávaro Beach, Macao Beach, and Amor Beach (Cabeza del Toro). However, there are many other beautiful and less crowded spots around Punta Cana.

I’ve been living in Punta Cana for many years and know the area very well. I’ll be happy to help you choose the perfect location for your photoshoot.

What is the best time for a photoshoot?

The best time for a photoshoot is usually 2–3 hours after sunrise or 2–3 hours before sunset. During this time, colors appear vibrant, the sun is at an ideal angle, and the weather is not as hot.

Another great option is the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. The light is soft, warm, and beautiful, creating a magical atmosphere for your photos 🙂

What happens if the weather is bad?

About 90% of the time, the weather in Punta Cana is beautiful. Even if it’s raining right now, the sun is often back out 10 minutes later.

However, if we happen to get a few rainy days in a row and the weather isn’t suitable for a photoshoot, we’ll simply reschedule for another convenient date.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

I usually deliver the photos the same day or the following day. However, in rare cases, unexpected circumstances may delay delivery by 2–3 days.

What should I wear for the photoshoot?

Bring a few outfits that you love, and we’ll pick the perfect one together! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident — not what you’re wearing.

If you have several options, I generally recommend neutral colors such as white, black, gray, beige, or earth tones. It’s also best to avoid large logos and overly bright, distracting color combinations.

Can I bring more than one outfit?

Of course! You’re welcome to bring several outfit options. Even during a 30-minute Mini Session, we can usually manage 2 looks, and during a 1-hour session, up to 3 looks 🙂
